Kathy has been immersed in the arts for as long as she can remember. After studying music, dance, and acting throughout her childhood, it was an easy decision to follow her passions at the university level. Kathy first studied at The Eastman School of Music (voice performance major/piano minor) in the Bachelor of Music Program. She transferred after a few years to The Boston Conservatory where she graduated with a BFA in musical theatre. It was this combination of a classical music conservatory program and a musical theatre education that gives her such a wide range of knowledge as a performer and teacher.

Kathy is currently performing in Mary Poppins on Broadway, covering such roles as Mrs. Corry and Miss Lark. She toured nationally in the original production of Ragtime, shared the stage with Tony Curtis in Some Like It Hot, and danced in Randy Skinner’s White Christmas. Kathy has performed all around the US in regional theatres. Favorite roles include Polly in Crazy For You, Sara in Keep on the Sunny Side, Dolly Tate in Annie Get Your Gun, and Josie Cohan in George M.

Kathy is a born teacher, and finds a way to fit it into her performing schedules whenever possible. She teaches private voice lessons and tap classes, with students ranging from absolute beginners to professionals on Broadway.

In her spare time, Kathy has been known to pick up the guitar and sing a Joni Mitchell song. She imagines that somebody, someday will write a musical that would star a folk singing, tap dancing, piano playing comedienne. In the mean time, she writes her own songs and just enjoys wherever life takes her....
